Hey There
My name is Jack Birdsall and ever since I was 8 years old, when my dad scalped tickets for The Lord Of The Rings opening weekend, I knew that I wanted to be a part of the filmmaking process. That has not changed since, and my undying passion for helping you make your vision a reality remains true today.
All About Me
With 10 years working in entertainment in New York City, I have gained an in depth knowledge of the intricacies involved in the production of films & television series. In my journey as an Assistant Director for the DGA, I have worked on many high-profile projects such as The Plot Against America (HBO), Étoile (Amazon Prime), and Severance (Apple TV+). Learning from the best filmmakers in the business, I gained the ability to speak the language of the artists I was there to help execute their vision.

I have directed crews on set in various landscapes, such as city streets, government buildings, personal homes, and forests/mountains. These challenges have "forced" me to learn about novel subjects on the fly to streamline our goals for both the daily operations and the entire shooting schedule. I use the word "forced" in quotations because it has never been an involuntary task because I LOVE it.

The biggest problem in this business that I have noticed is the disconnect between the creative and the commercial side of this process. After graduating from Creighton University, majoring in Finance and Marketing and minoring in Economics, knowing that I am not as creatively talented as those around me, I dedicated myself to making sure that I could guide filmmakers to success. This service is the culmination of that intention, to give my filmmaker friends and colleagues the structured business plan essential to approaching investors and entering production ready to hit the ground running. You should not have to think about these minute things during your development. Outsourcing this work and thinking allows you to focus on what's most important...the story.
